Shreveport Bridge Association offers new lessons for bridge players

Would you like to improve your social bridge?

Do you have trouble communicating with partner?  Are you and your spouse arguing too much to enjoy the game?  Do prospective partners flee when they see you?  Is “dummy” your best position at the table?  Would you like to win more?

If so, The Shreveport Bridge Association is offering a new set of lessons targeted for you!  Using the Easybridge format, you can learn modern tactics of bridge and play in an instructional game each week.  The $11 Easybridge 2 books are FREE to all for the first 2 weeks.  The lesson fees (followed by a sanctioned game are $6 per week.)

The Easybridge lessons are targeted to the ambitious social player and the newer duplicate players.  They consist of:  modern bridge bidding review, what to lead at suit contracts, the “Seven Deadly Finesses, Weak Twos for Republicans & Democrats, the Dolly Parton hands and more. 

Lessons followed by playing hands, will last approximately 3 hours.  Free refreshments and nametags are provided.  Partners are guaranteed each week.  You may call 865-1224 for more information or just come in the first night.  Monday evenings at 6:30 pm, beginning May 16, 2011.
