Nationally-recognized  Tom Trenney to accompany silent Movie on the pipe organ on September 19th

The Robinson Film Center and the North Louisiana Chapter of the American Guild of Organists have joined together to bring an evening of FREE family-fun to downtown Shreveport.  On Sunday, September 19, at 7 pm at First United Methodist Church at the head of Texas Street in downtown Shreveport, silent movies will once again grace the silver screen with the comedic antics of Laurel and Hardy.  Bringing the slapstick and pratfalls to life will be nationally-recognized organist Tom Trenney of Lincoln, Nebraska.  Trenney will use his talents at the pipe organ to thrill the audience as he enlivens the hilarious action on the screen.  Come enjoy "silent" movies as they were meant to be experienced at the hands of a wonderfully talented musician.
