The Best of Times receives 15 awards

at a national senior publishers convention

The Best of Times, a free monthly newsmagazine for mature adults in Northwest Louisiana, received fifteen (15) national awards at the annual meeting of the North American Mature Publishers Association (NAMPA) held in Nashville, Tennessee in early November. 

The Best of Times received awards in a wide variety of design and editorial categories. Fourteen (14) of the awards were for first place, including the prestigious overall Best of Show category. Other awards received were for feature writing, column review, senior issues, briefs and shorts (editorial and design), travel writing, special section, topical issue, ad and banner design. Additionally the newsmagazine’s website won first place for website general excellence.
