Community Healthcare Education Network (CHEN) of Northwest Louisiana is hosting its "2nd Annual Outstanding Achievers in Healthcare" award luncheon  on Tuesday, February 9, 2010 at 11:00 am at Superior Steakhouse in Shreveport.  The outstanding nominees in the 7 categories who have been exemplary in their efforts in healthcare will be announced on this luncheon– home health/sitter services; durable medical equipment, hospice, senior living facilities, nurse, social worker, and an outstanding CHEN member.

The public is invited to nominate persons from Northwest Louisiana to be recognized for their efforts in healthcare. These nominees should be exemplary in the following qualities – healthcare education; performance where a patient/resident is concerned; honesty/integrity, and compassion.  The nominee must be involved in one of the six categories.  The deadline for submission of nominee along with narrative of the reason for the nomination is January 12, 2010 and must be mailed to CHEN, 9301 Wallace Lake Road, Shreveport, LA 71106 or faxed to 318-683-1191.
