US Congressional Candidates Senior Forum on October 1st

US Congressional Candidates “Senior Forum”

(4th District of Louisiana)

 

On

Wednesday, October 1, 2008

9:00 am to 10:30 am

at

NurseCare of Shreveport

1736 Irving Place – Shreveport, LA 71101

 

Due to major radio technical difficulties, the US Congressional Candidates “Senior Forum” scheduled to be broadcast “live” on Saturday, September 27, 2008 on THE BEST OF TIMES RADIO HOUR did not take place.    However, the candidates have agreed to return on Wednesday, October 1, 2008 at 9:00 am at NurseCare of Shreveport located at 1736 Irving Place in Shreveport to participate in a “Senior Forum” where Gary L. Calligas, Publisher of THE BEST OF TIMES and radio show host of THE BEST OF TIMES RADIO HOUR, will ask each of the candidates to answer questions relating to senior citizens’ issues and concerns. This senior forum will allow each of the US Congressional candidates for the 4th District of Louisiana to inform the public about their platform concerning issues of particular importance to senior citizens in Northwest Louisiana. This Congressional Candidates Senior Forum is presented and hosted by NurseCare of Shreveport, AARP Louisiana, and The Best of Times.

 

The public is invited to attend this “Senior Forum” on Wednesday, October 1st at 9 am at NurseCare of Shreveport located at 1736  Irving Place in Shreveport.

 

In addition, this  “Senior Forum” held on October 1st will be recorded to be broadcast on Saturday, October 4th at 9 am on THE BEST OF TIMES RADIO HOUR on AM 1130 KWKH, A GAP Broadcasting Radio Station.
