SenioRx does not give anyone prescription drugs, but will help seniors complete applications to drug companies for free medicines or drug discount cards. There is no charge to receive SenioRx services and benefits. All assistance to persons is determined by the drug companies, dependent upon medications and income. SenioRx does not guarantee anyone will receive free or reduced cost medicines. Seniors who are Eligible for this program: 1. Are age 60 or older 2. Do not have insurance that helps them pay for medications 3. Have an income below $27,930 annually or $2,327 monthly (if the person lives alone) 4. Have an income below $37,470 annually or $3,122 monthly (if the person lives with another person) 5. Is a Louisiana resident. 6. Has not voluntarily cancelled a state or a federal prescription drug program or a private reimbursement plan within the last six months. Seniors must complete a SenioRx application, provide proof of income and proof of insurance, and provide a list of medications.
